Therapy for Teens & Young Adults in West Hollywood

Supporting Young People Through Life’s Turning Points

Clinically, I’ve worked with teens and families from diverse cultural, socioeconomic, and personal backgrounds, offering therapy that’s both culturally responsive and developmentally attuned. Currently, I am a counselor at Beverly Hills High School, and have previously worked with St. Raphael School in Inglewood. My training includes adolescent therapy specialization through The Maple Counseling Center and coursework in adolescent development at Antioch University, where I studied the neurobiology of the teenage brain and how it is wired for emotional intensity, identity exploration, and rapid growth. I also support college-aged clients navigating transitions, self-doubt, career anxiety, and emerging adulthood. These experiences have deepened my expertise in adolescent mental health and shown me how profoundly young people can thrive when met with the right kind of support.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, LGBTQ+ affirming, and grounded in the belief that healing happens when clients feel truly seen, heard, and empowered to author their own story.

Why Transitions Matter in Therapy

The stretch between adolescence and adulthood is filled with complexity. Whether you’re figuring out who you are, adjusting to college, or facing the pressure to “have it all together,” it’s easy to feel stuck, anxious, or alone. Therapy can help you pause, reflect, and meet these transitions with more clarity, resilience, and intention.

For families, these same transitions often bring long-standing dynamics to the surface—conflict, miscommunication, or patterns inherited across generations. These moments aren’t signs of dysfunction—they’re opportunities to create change.

Evidence-Based, Insight-Oriented Therapy

I draw from multiple evidence-based therapeutic approaches, tailoring our work to your needs:

  • Psychodynamic & Attachment-Based Therapy – Explore how early relationships shape your emotions, patterns, and sense of self.

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – Learn practical tools to reduce anxiety, manage stress, and challenge negative thought cycles.

  • Mindfulness & Meditation-Based Therapy – Strengthen self-regulation, presence, and emotional balance.

  • Trauma-Informed Therapy & Addiction Recovery Support – Address underlying trauma, substance use, sex addiction, and compulsive behaviors in a nonjudgmental space.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Build self-regulation by integrating inner parts, reducing conflict, and fostering emotional balance through evidence-based techniques.

  • Family Therapy – Improve communication, resolve conflict, and begin to shift stuck relational dynamics.

  • LGBTQ+ Affirming Therapy – Explore identity, relationships, and belonging in a space that celebrates your full self.

  • Therapy for Teens & Young Adults in Transition – Build confidence, insight, and emotional resilience during key developmental milestones.

A Holistic, Collaborative Approach

Therapy works best when it reflects the full context of a person’s life. Whenever appropriate and with consent, I consult with school-based professionals and other care providers to ensure treatment is aligned and integrated. This may include guidance counselors, school psychologists, occupational therapists, special education teachers, and educational consultants.

I believe in a systems-based approach—one that recognizes the importance of consistent support across environments like home, school, and peer settings. In my work, I’ve supported clients navigating everything from under-resourced educational systems to the high expectations of elite institutions. What I’ve seen time and again is that emotional suffering isn’t always visible from the outside—and that healing becomes possible when a young person finally feels understood. I also provide online support and telehealth throughout California.

Let’s Talk

You don’t have to have everything figured out to begin therapy. Sometimes the work starts with a simple question: What would it be like to feel more like myself again? If that’s something you’re wondering, I’d be glad to connect and see if we’re a good fit.
